I share valuable lessons learned through my faith and experiences while coping as an anxious introvert in a predominantly extrovert culture.

My name is Christina “Tina” Frederick, and I’m hoping to brighten your day with some things that you can apply to your life to give you a better outlook. I’ve battled depression and anxiety for most of my life and will gladly share with you some of the things I’ve learned.

By the way, the fish at the top of the page is known for hiding in plain sight by staying still for extended periods of time. I often feel like I am staying still for too long in situations that I don’t like.

I don’t plan on following this fish’s example anymore. Sometimes I’ll go over too many scenarios, decide not to act, and end up motionless like the fish. Let’s not let fear paralyze and rob us from the great experiences that life can offer.

  1. I call that “analysis paralysis,” and I have been guilty of it, too. I have been working to get beyond these types of paralyzing fears and living out the calling He has set before me as well. Nice to “meet” you along this journey to freedom! 😉
